投资公司负责人刘振宇（玄彬饰）前往西班牙古城格拉纳达，无意中体验到一款以城市历史风情为主题的AR游戏，并由于投资需要结识了游戏设计师的姐姐郑熙珠（朴信惠饰）。令刘振宇始料未及的是，在体验游戏的过程中，现实世界与游戏世界紧紧纠缠，昔日的朋友们竟然在游戏对战中离奇死亡，甚至转化为游戏的NPC，以敌人/盟友的身份反复出现，迫使刘振宇处于永恒战斗状态，身心俱疲。从某种程度上说，刘振宇在对全球电视观众进行着游戏直播，而我们则变成了“云玩家”，边通过玄彬的视角打怪升级，边猜测下个关卡的游戏任务和游戏规则。。Working on her fourth in the successful anthology romance series featuring the "in love" characters of Desmond Ranes and Catarina, Izzi Simmons is told by her best friend and editor Mila that the ending of her first draft, already past due, is unacceptable.
