故事背景為台灣經濟起飛之時，留學日本的創業家江永信(温昇豪飾演)，草創無人了解的保全公司「勤信保全」，與慈善家莊蕙蘭 (安心亞飾演) 一同經歷艱辛的推廣，面臨創業不被看好、客戶失竊引發公司危機、惡性競爭等起落浮沉，所幸與家庭工作兩頭燒的職業婦女吳明麗(蔡淑臻飾演)、超級業務張碩(李國毅飾演)齊心胼手打拼，靠著深耕共好、求新求變理念，締造科技保全龍頭地位，更進而建立起一個造福社會、永續經營的企業集團。。1839年，运送黑奴的阿米斯塔德号在大洋上遭遇暴风雨，黑奴们趁乱暴动，将船员砍杀，控制了阿米斯塔德号后试图驶回家乡，然而六周后，他们阴差阳错抵达了美国，幸存下来的44名黑奴被美国军方逮捕，并将面临杀人罪的指控。此时，西班牙女王向美国总统要求引渡这些属于西班牙的黑奴；两名海军军官也宣称黑奴是他们的战利品；另有人拿出了在古巴购买这些黑奴的证明。各方争执之际，废奴会的领袖之一、同时也是船公司负责人的乔德森与友人塔培安雇佣了律师罗杰，希望证明这些黑奴来自非洲，从而在废奴观念深入人心的大环境下为他们谋取自由……。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
