本片是韩国在线漫画（Webtoon）Noblesse的第一部OVA，最初于富川国际动画节上放映，后于2015年12月4日发行DVD。OVA讲述的是发生在820年前的故事。动画由韩国动画公司Studio Animal制作。。“Praise be to the cinema: the law is not said, it is seen and heard. A story is born and given to us. This is how, through an image, life is resuscitated”. (Jean-Luc Godard, 1985)。
